We recently hired Vaks Catering for a surprise 60th birthday meal for my mum, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. From start to finish, Saskia was absolutely fantastic, incredibly professional, friendly, and flexible in helping us plan something really special.

She worked closely with us to tailor the menu exactly to our needs, accommodating dietary requirements, allergies and last-minute tweaks without any stress. On the day, she was calm, organised, and completely on top of everything, which really helped us enjoy the moment.

The food itself went down an absolute treat. Every single dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Everyone commented on how delicious everything was, and my mum was genuinely blown away. The attention to detail and the care Saskia put into the entire experience really shone through.

It felt like more than just a catered meal, it felt personal. Saskia brought such warmth to the event, and helped create an evening that we’ll all remember for a long time. One of the loveliest touches was when Saskia even brought out a candle for my mum (completely unprompted), which really made the moment extra meaningful and memorable. It’s that kind of thoughtfulness we really appreciated.
